Assistance League of Bellingham’s  Care Center Support program recently gave six care centers in Bellingham and Whatcom County $300 each so that they could select Spring gifts for their residents. Activity directors chose items that were ordered online.

Pictured in the photo is Arlene Cano, Care Center Support Chair and Wendy Smith, CCS Committee member presenting Kaitlin Gebhardt, Activity Director of St. Francis of Bellingham with their gifts.

Upon receiving the gifts, Kaitlin commented, “We here at St Francis are so grateful to the Assistance League of Bellingham and all that do for our residents. With their generous spring gift donation, we were able to add more bingo players to our weekly bingo sessions, spruce up our art classes, enjoy game nights with the residents, and keep resident’s eyes out of the sunshine while enjoying the fantastic weather we have been having!

The Assistance League team members are always so kind and a pleasure to work with. A huge thank you to them and all that they do!”
