At Assistance League of Bellingham’s May business meeting, JJ Oxford, in presenting the Ada Edwards Laughlin Award, stated, “It is my honor, privilege and great pleasure to award the Ada Edwards Laughlin award to Sandy Dentinger.

She has been a member for seven years or so and in that time has worked on many committees; these are just some that I know of: Care Center Support, Finance, Risk Management, Thrift Shop Day Manager and Cashier and more, Yule Boutique, Public Relations and Grant Writing. She also stepped up and served on the board as VP of Marketing one year when a vacancy occurred.

She is always willing to help with a ready smile and great ideas and super questions. It is with great pleasure that I give this award to Sandy Dentinger.”
