We provide funds for kids to participate in school gardens organized by Common Threads Farm

Assistance League of Bellingham’s philanthropic program Eating Healthy provides volunteer support and funds for approximately 25 elementary school gardens, where children learn to grow, harvest, cook and eat fresh vegetables.

We are partnering with a local nonprofit Common Threads Farm which is dedicated to “growing good eaters” by exposing young children to the joy of eating fresh produce.
