PediPlace Program

Pediplace is a nonprofit pediatric healthcare practice for children from birth through eighteen years of age who are uninsured or who qualify for Medicaid or CHIP (Children’s’ Health Insurance Program) benefits. PediPlace provides a medical home for children who otherwise would go without care or who would unnecessarily use an emergency room.

Members of Assistance League of Dallas donate homemade Taggies for infants and toddlers. A Taggie is made from soft squares of baby flannel on each of four sides and three colorful textured ribbons are attached. Taggies promote fine motor skills, such as grasping and reaching.
