Assistance League of Dallas hosts bingo games at Brookdale Preston Senior Living center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Also, the members provide gift bags during various holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Valentine’s Day.
Additional member activities include calling numbers for bingo sessions and knitting “lap blankets” for patients who are wheelchair-bound. Assistance League members assist the residents in their color and design selections so each blanket is customized for the receiving resident.
