Join Assistance League of Omaha
Volunteerism is the lifeblood of Assistance League. As a member there are multiple opportunities to volunteer your time and talent.
- Join the thrift shop staff or volunteer on the sales floor.
- Any one of our philanthropic programs needs your help.
- Join our Speakers Bureau.
- Assist with Christmas Caravan and other fundraisers.
- Plan member events like the Spring Fashion Show.
- Put your cooking skills to work for our bake sales.
- Tend the landscaping at the chapter house.
- Join the board.
- Contribute to and publish the newsletters and weekly member blasts.
Visit Our Thrift Shop
The Assistance League Thrift Shop is operated by volunteers of Assistance League of Omaha. Funds from the thrift shop are used to support Assistance League of Omaha’s philanthropic programs. Located in the midtown area the shop offers a broad selection of carefully chosen and displayed items. There are regular half-price sales, and semi-annual sales. Volunteers receive, sort, price, display and sell the donations.
