MAKING A DIFFERENCE

As our customers shop, I am thankful their purchases support Operation School Bell®. My favorite customer stories include a Mother-of-the-Groom finding the perfect dress and shoes; a gentleman trying out the couches until he found the most comfortable one; and the family who outfitted their kids with school clothes. I have a ‘feel good’ job!
Kate Burridge – Thrift Store Manager and Member Since 2014

I was greeted immediately and welcomed by several “staff” wearing bright red aprons, asking if I had been in before and giving me a quick tutorial of what’s what. Secondly, I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the store.  Thirdly, I was impressed by the organized “departments” with eye catching displays, the wide variety of items are not only clean, but like new. The boutique section was really a thrill! And the prices! And the quality!

The Assistance League Thrift Store is, hands down, the best in the county! High quality goods for cheap prices. The clothing is great and the furniture is perfect for your home or apartment. The staff is always beyond friendly and the store is clean and organized. I love shopping there!

Since our chapter opened the Thrift Store over seven years ago, we have been amazed at the quality and uniqueness of many of our donations. That trend still continues today. It has allowed us to become a high-end Thrift Store, but with thrift pricing.
