During the March general meeting, President Bobbie King presented Debbie Hinson, Assisteens Liaison, with the Anne Banning Award for her outstanding work and dedication to the Assistance League of Coppell.  Debbie has served the Coppell community and the Assistance League of Coppell chapter in many ways, including helping with our Fatal Vision Goggles and drug testing kits, Journeys, Shattered Dreams, Action! Week, Christmas in Coppell Home Tour, resource development and membership committee.  Most recently, Debbie was the driving force in forming our teen auxiliary, Assisteens, which is a volunteer organization for young men and women in grades 7 – 12.  The Anne Banning award was named after the founder of Assistance League and demonstrates the importance and value of leadership to Assistance League chapters, while also honoring the accomplishments and dedication of the recipient. Thank you Debbie for your dedication to our city, our schools and our chapter.
