Community Outreach allows a flexible, quick response strategy by which Assistance League of Norman can respond to specific community needs that do not fit within currently existing programs and that can be addressed on a one-time-only or short-term basis.

Assistance League of Norman was one of the first on the scene after the May 20, 2013 tornado bringing supplies, food, and water to those affected by the storms nearby.

In the past we bought beds and bedding for a family in need.  We also purchased a couch and chair for a woman who had no furniture in her living room.  We bought bus passes for a homeless student at Norman High School, and we bought 900 cans of soup and vegetables for the Meals on Wheels holiday program.
