Dear Neighbor,
As you may know, Assistance League Rancho San Dieguito is your local, all volunteer non-profit serving children and adults in our community. We support literacy, education, and victims of abuse or neglect through twelve philanthropic programs. These include Operation School Bell, providing new clothing to underserved children in our local schools and to children of enlisted Marines at Camp Pendleton; Pre-school tutoring at Head Start in Encinitas; Scholarships for graduating seniors of San Dieguito High School District; Flowers for seniors in Assisted Living Facilities; Hand knitted items for newborns at Balboa Hospital and Gently Hugged; and Humble Designs, furnishing apartments for formerly unhoused families. In addition, we are a partner of One Safe Place in San Marcos, providing resources through Assault Survivor Kits, Thrive, and a General Assistance Program.
While about half the funding for these programs is earned in our thrift shop, the rest comes from fundraisers, grants, and donations from our members and those in the community who want their donations to be used locally.
Our next annual fundraiser, Together We Give, will be held on March 22, 2026 at The Crossings in Carlsbad. Sponsors and Underwriters will be acknowledged at the event and we would love to include your name or company in our list of community supporters. Tickets to the event are included for underwriting at the levels below.
