Southwest Washington's Day to Give

Help transform lives with a gift on September 19 to Assistance League Southwest Washington during Give More 24!, the 24-hour online giving program for Southwest Washington.

The sixty-some members of Assistance League Southwest Washington make a huge difference locally. This all-volunteer organization helps people at significant tipping points in their lives—when they’ve just been treated for assault at the hospital, or suddenly entered foster care, or are aging out of the foster care system with no family to be there for them.

We supply brand-new clothes to assault survivors and to young folks who’d otherwise start in a new school in hand-me-downs. We see that all kids in foster care gets beautiful My Life Story Books to hold their photos, records and mementoes. We help kids at Innovative Services Northwest plant and tend their own playground garden. Kids in 25 local schools with high poverty levels get clothing and literacy supplies bought just for them.

With no paid staff or physical location, we put your donations to work right here at home, serving people at their point of need. Your support makes a real difference.
