State Assemblyman Mike Gatto (D-Glendale) last month presented Assistance League of Flintridge with a certificate of commendation in recognition of its devotion “to the highest ideals of community service” for 65 years. Assistance League of Flintridge’s two auxiliary organizations, Cañada Auxiliary of Professionals and Assisteens® were included in the commendation.
Accepting the certificate on behalf of the organization was its president, Donna Shepherd.
The group supports and administers philanthropic programs, including Drama, Retired Service Volunteers, Operation School Bell, Community Needs Assessment and Outreach, and Instrumental Music.
