The Georgetown Public Library has teamed up with Assistance League of Georgetown Area to host its first “An Evening in Paris” fundraiser.
The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. April 8 at the library, and tickets are on sale at the library circulation desk.
All funds raised from the event will help benefit the philanthropic missions of both organizations, which focus on providing literacy assistance and opportunities to children. Live music by jazz quartet Art & Candy will set the atmosphere for the raffle, with prize list items including a trip to Colonial Williamsburg and an oil painting.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and dessert will also be served throughout the evening.
Event tickets are $50 a person and each purchase includes a raffle ticket.
