Assistance League of Greater Collin County would like to give a big thank you to the Collin County Master Gardeners for making Assistance League their designated charity for their 2016 Spring Garden Show on March 19th and 20th. Monies received included all donations and the income from the sale of over 1000 raffle tickets for the fairy garden bathtub created and donated to us by one of the Master Gardeners. Our members welcomed visitors and collected donations, as well as tending our booth complete with a power point about our activities where members answered questions about our programs and projects.
All of the volunteers had a wonderful time working with the master gardeners, viewing the gorgeous plants, and visiting with attendees. We can’t thank the Collin County Master Gardeners Club enough for helping us to clothe young children in need in Collin County.
