Assistance League of Visalia will hold an “Operation School Bell®” event Sunday to help clothe Tulare County children in need.
More than 40 volunteers of the Assistance League will help provide new clothing for 275 children — many of whom are reluctant to go to school because they do not have suitable clothes, the organization said.
Children and families will be invited at 8 a.m. at the south entrance of J.C. Penney on Mooney Boulevard.
