Columbia Pacific – Receives Grant from U.S. BanCorp

Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific President Jane Cartwright was pleased to receive a helping hand from U.S. Bank. The U.S. BanCorp Foundation awarded Assistance League an unrestricted grant of $5,000 to help in their mission to improve the lives of young people in Clatsop County.

Sheila Ranta, vice president of resource development, had applied for the grant. “U.S. Bank has been a consistent supporter of our programs year after year, and this grant will provide new school appropriate clothing for 50 local students in need,” she said.

Assistance League has four philanthropic programs including their signature program, Operation School Bell, Athletic Participation, Duffle Bag and Cinderella’s Closet. For information about Assistance League, or to join or donate, go to www.assistanceleaguecp.org
