NIKE – Seaside Outlet Store, Store Manager Mike Burk and the store staff were honored by Assistance League of the Columbia by presenting the National Operation School Bell® Award to Mike Burk at the chapter’s Spring Luncheon on May 4, 2017. For over seven years the chapter’s Operation School Bell program has worked with Mike as the store has held shopping events for young men in the Clatsop County’s schools. Mike made the events more than just a shopping experience for the boys by having a DJ playing popular music and letting the chapter bring in pizzas, sandwiches and soft drinks donated by local restaurants for the boys to eat after they shopped for their new clothes.
