Mid Missouri – Gives Program Funding to Lee Expressive Arts Elementary School

Links to Learn11.19 storytelling pictureing is a competitive program that provides funding for projects designed and implemented by Columbia Public School teachers. Teachers are invited to submit applications for funds that allow them to develop learning activities to extend and enrich the existing educational curriculum. An allocation committee comprised of members of Assistance League of Mid Missouri reviews all proposals in September and awards are announced in October. Since 1992, awards have been given for the following purposes:

  • Enrich student learning experiences related to District curriculum
  • Improve students’ achievement
  • Involve and benefit students
  • Foster interdisciplinary instruction, enhance higher order thinking skills and/or support multi-age structures
