The Assisteens purchased and made up Easter Baskets for several families in need who were referred to them through a local social service agency. Assisteen Katie said “The Easter Basket was an overall fun project! I had a great time helping pick out fun toys for the kids and then putting them together for the families!” Pictured are Ashley, Kate and Katie, 3 of the Assisteens who worked on the project. Our Assisteens are a fun, caring, and committed group of teens volunteering to help their community and are looking forward to meeting new teens in grades 7 – 12 who wish to join them in serving the Greater Placer area.
