Julie Malvey was the well deserved recipient of the Ada Edwards Award at the Annual June Meeting. Last year’s winner, Betty Fields, presented the award to Julie. This award is presented to the Assistance League® of Greater Placer member whose behind the scenes contributions are significant and which exemplify the attributes of Ada Edwards Laughlin who, along with Anne Banning, founded the national organization of Assistance League in 1935 to promote volunteerism.
