We were delighted to be able to present books to these happy students at George Cirby Elementary School. The school shared a $5000 Golden 1 Community Book grant with 3 other schools, based on literacy levels, which allowed our chapter to allocate $1250 to purchase 77 new books for their library and K through 5th grade classrooms. Presenting the books are (from L to R): Linda Starkey, VP Philanthropic Programs; Janice Carey, VP Marketing, Sydney Whaley, President; and Paulette Benedict, President-Elect.
