Janet Patten, joined our chapter in 2015 because she had a passion for working with the older citizens in our community. She immediately signed up for our Angels for Aging Program and has been an active member and a mentor to new members who have joined this philanthropic program. This year she agreed to co-chair the program. Janet and the social committee have worked tirelessly to provide social events for the members including entertaining events such as plays, wine-tasting, and garden tours. Janet has also provided direction and support to a committee of members who provide home-made foods to serve at the New Member Coffees, arranges for decor at the Fall Tea and works diligently along with the social committee to display the items for the December Silent Auction. Besides working quietly behind the scenes, Janet always has a big smile and a good word for other members! Congratulations Janet on the well deserved award!
