Six of the twenty-seven members of the Reaching Out Committee, met to fill backpacks with some necessities for our homeless population. Some of the items included in the backpacks are socks, a knit hat, rain poncho, bottle of water, hand sanitizer and a mask. Presenting the backpacks to Officer Johnson of the Auburn Police Department (CA) (APD), our newest partner agency, are members, left to right, Vanita Vrilakas, Bobbi Dunk, June Haugen, Linda Arlen, and Co-Chair, Clare Dendinger. President-Elect, Katie Smith, 3rd from left in bottom picture, also helped fill the backpacks. The APD will distribute the backpacks to those in need in our local area.
