Assistance League® of Greater Placer, through our many programs, supports families in need throughout the year. At this time of the year, some families are in desperate situations and need more help than is generally available to them. When some of our members learned of a family in the Rocklin Unified School District that needed additional assistance, they personally decided to support this family. A few of the items they provided included: kids clothes and jackets (and two soft sided suitcases to hold the clothes), four blankets and pillows, toiletries the family needed and $200 worth of Target gift cards. Pictured is our Philanthropic Program VP, Carol Brock, at the Rocklin School District office where she delivered the items which will be given to the family. Other families have been helped in this manner by our generous members. We love our volunteers!
