The Assistance League® of Greater Placer’s Kids on the Block Program is supported by your donations and purchases in the Thrift Shop. Customers had an opportunity to meet some of the cute puppets and our member puppeteers at the Thrift Shop who were on hand to answer questions about this wonderful educational program that provides puppet shows to elementary school students on social issues. Pictured are Kay and Jayne in the top row and Aileen in the lower picture, 3 of our talented puppeteers. Children love interacting with the puppets and learning how to handle some of the social situations that might come up at school.
