City of Roseville Presents $25,000 Grant for School Clothing

At the July City of Roseville Grants Advisory Commission meeting, Assistance League® of Greater Placer members Patti Swan, Jamie Hershman, and Vicki Harris, (pictured L to R, 5th, 6th, and 7th) attended to accept a check for $25,000 for the Operation School Bell®’s grant “Roseville Kids Shop Head to Toe”. This very generous grant will help to provide new school clothes and shoes for over 200 students in need who attend Roseville City schools and have been referred to us. It was very exciting to hear how the other Grant recipients also provide assistance to the Roseville community. In total, the Roseville City Council granted over $600,000 to philanthropies and charities in the South Placer area. Thank you to our Grants Committee for writing such a beautiful grant describing the services that Assistance League® of Greater Placer provides to the Roseville community, and THANK YOU City of Roseville for the most generous grant!
