There was a two day conference for all of the Northern California Chapters of Assistance League, including Reno. It was very informative and the networking with other chapters was especially helpful. There were several breakout sessions on Membership and Retention, Leadership Development, Fundraising, Marketing and Social Media, Thrift Shops, Strategic Planning and DEI. There was a tour of the large and well done Sacramento Chapter’s Thrift Store called Fabulous Finds on Fulton. Assistance League® of Greater Placer representatives came away from the National Assistance League®(NAL) conference and tour feeling positive about our chapter’s programs and operations and our small but mighty Thrift Store!
