Brunswick Family Assistance will be the focus of our newest SnackPack program. The non-profit agency offers low-income families assistance with food, medical needs, rent and utilities. One of their goals is to make sure Brunswick County children have breakfast and lunch seven days a week for the 12 weeks they are out of school. Food is distributed weekly to children in grades K-12 who live in families which qualify and apply for this assistance.

The program exists through grants and donations. Children need and enjoy snacks as part of their daily food intake, and we are thankful to have the means to support this program. The new program will follow the model already established for our Nourish NC SnackPack program.
