Operation School Bell

Smiles are abundant as these two young sisters leave Burlington with their new school clothing provided by our Operation School Bell Program.  Shopping events such as this one have been held at various stores in Montgomery County for the past weeks.

Speaker at October Regular Meeting

Frank Robinson, Downtown Manager, City of Conroe and a member of our Advisory Council giving a presentation at our September Regular Meeting.  Mr. Robinson delighted us with wonderful plans the city officials have to re-imagine Conroe as a “Destination City”  and revitalize our downtown area.  Exciting possibilities are ahead!!

Donation to Angel Reach

At the Transitional Housing for Angel Reach, sheet sets, towels and pillows were delivered to Kim Smart, Resident Director, by Donna Gement, Chairman of the Caring & Sharing Committee.

Market Street Change for Charity Program

Representatives from Barrett-Jaskson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions®, visited The Woodlands Car Club’s September car show at Market Street in The Woodlands. They were promoting Barrett-Jackson’s first ever auction in Houston. Sabrina, who is one of our frequent shoppers, looks for unusual items to use in her jewelry business. Her other favorite items are artwork, dishes and Asian themed pieces. Sabrina enjoys her visits to our thrift shop because there are “always nice surprises to find.”
