Texas Children’s Hospital Receives Assault Survivor Kits

Thirty-six Assault Survivor Kits were delivered to Texas Children’s Hospital. The nurses were so grateful and expressed how excited they were to receive the items that would benefit the children of Montgomery County.

Senior Passports and Children’s Immunization Records Will Be Provided to Agencies in Montgomery County

The Passport for Good Health Committee has had a very busy August. We have reviewed, rewritten and printed 5,000 red adult passports. We have counted and banded all 5,000 in groups of 25 for convenience and accuracy. The moment we accomplished this goal we started the process all over again to replenish our blue child […]

Caring and Sharing Resumes Activities

As the state opens up and schools resume, the Caring and Sharing Committee is resuming “new normal” activities. At the end of August we resumed the snacks through Communities in Schools, increasing from 14 to 17 campuses this year. We also delivered hygiene kits, stuffed toys, and soaps to the Salvation Army. SANE Program Provides Assault Survivor Kits

  Elizabeth Williams, a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE), accepts assault survivor kits from Marcie Finger, Assistance League member. Ms. Williams lives in Tyler but she makes the long trip every week to provide support for men, women, and children at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center.
