Welcome to Our Thrift Shop…Where You Always Find a Bargain
The Assistance League Thrift Shop is the economic engine that provides approximately 80 percent of the budget that supports our programs. Thrift Shop earnings have grown from $12,900 during 1985–1986 to over $836,683 in 2023-2024.
The Thrift Shop is staffed entirely by our member volunteers who worked over 54,000 hours during 2023–2024 to ensure the smooth operation of the shop. The Thrift Shop carries items from boutique-quality clothing to everyday wear, from jewelry to electronics, from a child’s toy to a gently used sofa, from decorative items to necessary kitchen utensils. Seasonal items and holiday decorations are available to provide shoppers with merchandise to brighten their home décor. The Thrift Shop is tastefully appointed and always an inviting place to shop.

The value of donated merchandise is tax-deductible and gratefully accepted at the Thrift Shop:
Donation Guidelines
We accept donations of gently used, clean clothing, jewelry, toys, household items, new/almost new electronics, sports equipment, books, seasonal items, and furniture in good, salable condition.
Due to space limitations, we cannot accept the following items:
- Wedding dresses (unless the customer understands the dress could be used as a Halloween costume)
- Televisions, Stereo Systems, Computers, Monitors, Printers, Scanners
- Microwaves, Bread Makers
- Soundbars, CD/DVD Players, Record Players, or any related items
- Vacuum Cleaners
- Used Personal Hygiene Devices
- Large Exercise Equipment
- Window Blinds
- Mattresses
- Christmas Trees (unless in season)
- Children’s car seats / Baby Rock’n Play
