Welcome to Assistance League Montgomery County’s website! Our website gives information about our history, Our Story, our community programs, how you can support us and how you can join us as a volunteer.
We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that has been serving the residents of Montgomery County since 1985.
We are one of 120 chapters of National Assistance League whose programs help strengthen communities and transform lives of children and adults. Serving only Montgomery County, the focus of our eight community programs falls into two groups:
- Children, with programs designed to serve children from birth to high school completion.
- Community, with programs that benefit the needs of adult individuals and families.
Our Thrift Shop in downtown Conroe is the main source of revenue that funds our programs. Staffed by our member volunteers, you will find our Thrift Shop bustling with new and loyal shoppers. The Thrift Shop has quality clothing, housewares, linens, furniture, home décor and many other items.
We receive additional funds through donations and grants from various entities such as Montgomery County Community Foundation, Woodforest Bank Foundation, Woodlands Charities and Junior League of the Woodlands and others.
I invite you to visit our Thrift Shop and visit us on Facebook to receive information on chapter news and events as well as our fabulous Thrift Shop sales!
Thank you for visiting our website!
