Operation School Bell® supports Children and Families
Assistance League provides underserved children in the Greater Sacramento area with new school clothing each year. Shirts, pants, jackets, underwear, shoes, and socks are distributed to 40 targeted schools. For many children, this may be the first time to get new clothes or shoes.
15,099 new and gently used books were distributed in the 2023-24 school year. Every child in grades K-3 in 40 schools in four districts received a book to take home. Many of these children have no pleasure in reading books in their homes and have never owned their own books.
