Assistance League of Denver’s Happy Place, aka our Thrift Shop, opened on June 1, to a line of customers waiting on the sidewalk! We are and were so happy to welcome our customers and members back in a safe and responsible way.
All that closet and cabinet cleaning that went on during our “safe at home” time has resulted in fabulous donations to Assistance League. We are so excited about the sales prospects that will directly benefit our programs. It is taking all available hands to process this amazing bounty!
As difficult as the past few months have been, in many ways it has brought our members closer and more attuned to one another’s feelings and needs. This may just be the silver lining in this very dark cloud!
