Assistance League Temecula Valley members Mary Murphy, Dorcas Shaktman, Diana Elizondo and Michelle Stiles prepare bags of clothes for Operation School Bell recipients.
Assistance League Temecula Valley volunteers rallied together during the coronavirus pandemic and found ways to reach out to the community with the help of local partners. The nonprofit group’s philanthropic programs committee reorganized the structure of their programs, and all committee funds were put toward Operation School Bell®. Each program within the committee used their funds for specific needs, allowing for flexibility and grant writing, according to the nonprofit. Although each program will continue operating independently, the services they render will fit under the five points of Operation School Bell. These points are: clothing, food, health, literacy and supplies.
