Members of the Anaheim Auxiliary of the Assistance League Anaheim recently assembled Easter bags for the club’s project supporting children living in local motels.
This is one of the nonprofit organization’s annual projects, which brings a little bit of happiness to the children during the Easter holiday.
Another on-going project the club is sponsoring is the collection of calendars, magazine and books for veterans who are patients at Veteran’s Hospital in Long Beach.
Membership in the group is open to all women in the community interested in fun, friendship and community service. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Brookdale Senior Living (formally Nohl Ranch Inn). Beverly Nihei is current auxiliary chairwoman.
