Mobile – QB Country Raises Funds for Programs

Our spring fundraiser, Fans for Philanthropy was a great success. From the inspirational program led by David Morris with QB Country and Jake Coker, Jack West and Cephus Johnson – to our fabulous emcees, Kelly Jones and Darwin Singleton with Local 15 TV, to great food, live music, sports-themed table decor and tablescapes and the many donations for our silent auction – our program was a hit (or should I say Touchdown!)

A big thank you to our sponsors, community and media partners, friends and members that helped to make this fundraiser a success in both awareness of our chapter and also in funds raised to support our philanthropic programs in the community.

From Kelly Jones:

“Shannon!!

You and your group are officially my new favorite ladies!!!! Wow…so much love and passion for the community and the volunteerism. I’m hooked! Thank you for letting me join in such a lovely evening. I wanted to make sure you saw the below link. As promised we mentioned in our AM newscast. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can be of further assistance?”

All proceeds stay in Mobile Country and support the philanthropic programs of Assistance League. The League provides school supplies and more to underprivileged students, through Operation School Bell; therapy dolls for critically ill or traumatized children through Tender Loving Care; and Assault Survivor Kits to the Rape Crisis Center.
