A National Operation School Bell Award was presented to the Woodforest Charitable Foundation on Monday at the Assistance League’s annual meeting and luncheon. The Operation School Bell program has dressed 52,000 at-risk students prior to the start of school since the program’s local inception in 1987. Assistance League recently received a grant of $50,000 from the Woodforest Charitable Foundation in support of the Operation School Bell program.
