The Ventura County Fire Department from Station 30 of Thousand Oaks, California came to the Assistance League of Conejo Valley’s Thrift Shop last week to “rescue” bears from the Share-A-Bear philanthropy.
The Conejo Valley chapter of Assistance League has already distributed nearly 3,000 bears this year to 20 different locations to comfort those in traumatic situations. We are delighted to share in this outreach with our trusted and valued fire department.
