ATMC (Shallotte, N.C.) recently gave $25,000 in grants through Community Connections to 16 organizations dedicated to Brunswick County. This year’s recipients include education organizations, community service groups and a foundation that offers support and financial assistance to cancer patients, among many others.
Since 2006, ATMC has awarded over $500,000 in community and education grants to 328 programs.
Organizations receiving a portion of this year’s $25,000 include:
Assistance League of Greater Wilmington, Brunswick County Literacy Council, Brunswick Family Assistance, Brunswick Little Theatre, Brunswick Senior Resources, Inc., Community Movement Alliance, Friends of Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson, Helpers of Our Farm, Hope Harbor Home, Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center, Matthew’s Ministry, Ocean Isle Museum Foundation, Pretty in Pink Foundation, Southport Lions Club, United Communities Assistance Network and Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry, Inc.
