On Saturday, June 3, 2017, Assistance League’s Bakersfield chapter was awarded the Crystal Camellia Award as Nonprofit of the Year at the Beautiful Bakersfield Awards Ceremony sponsored by the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce.  Assistance League submitted our application with information about our 60th Anniversary Celebration of Operation School Bell®; which was in 2016.  We are thrilled to be recognized again by the City of Bakersfield.
