For the first time, the Assistance League of Greeley will participate in Colorado Gives Day on Dec. 5.
The Community First Foundation partnered with FirstBank for Colorado Gives Day, a statewide day of online philanthropy. Those looking to give can go to ColoradoGives.org to make a donation, which can be scheduled through 2018.
The Assistance League of Greeley provides six programs to support those in need, including assault survivor kits and Warm Up Weld.
“Our main source of income is from grants and the revenue we raise at our thrift store, the Bargain Box, 1706 9th St., Greeley. We run an all-volunteer program, with no paid employees. This means our proceeds go to sustain our programs,” Carol Cox, president of the board, said in a news release.
