SOCK is our annual fundraiser to help children in need through the gracious donations of our donors. This fundraiser focuses on our Operation School Bell® – Children’s Needs and our Community Needs programs.
The goal of Operation School Bell® – Children’s Needs is to clothe as many children as possible, provide books to children who have never owned a book of their own, screen young eyes for amblyopia, provide activities to kids in need and essential filled backpacks to graduating seniors, provide a “birthday in a bag” for kids living in local shelters and award three scholarships to high school seniors headed to college or trade school and one scholarship to a Las Positas College graduate headed to a four-year college or university. Our Community Needs goal is to help families who have food deficiencies by shopping and delivering food weekly to the Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry through our Food For Families Program.

Why: To provide school clothing, books and essential filled backpacks, a birthday celebration and more to school aged children in need through OPERATION SCHOOL BELL® – CHILDREN’S NEEDS. And help to feed the hungry in our communities through our COMMUNITY NEEDS programs.
