Assistance League of Austin was proud to present a check for $145,000 this week to the Board of Trustees at Austin Community College (ACC) to provide scholarships to young adults pursuing education in health and technology-related fields. With this check, Assistance League has contributed more than $1 million since 1998 to the scholarship program at ACC. This year, we are providing scholarship assistance to 66 students, more than 10 percent of the grants given each year by ACC.
