Making Dreams Come True
Assistance League of Bend’s Cinderella’s Closet was open Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout prom season (April 5 – May 6) so students could shop for their favorite dress. The “boutique” is set up in the chapter house year-round, but only opens during Prom and Homecoming seasons. Over 90 high school students throughout Deschutes County were able to borrow new and gently used formal dresses from the large selection of high-quality items donated by the community. These beautiful gowns, stylish shoes, and elegant jewelry, help make prom a truly special event. Our members loved helping the students pick the perfect attire. The local news station visited to do a feature story.
