Bend – Hosts Kitchen Kaleidoscope

Hungry looky-loos are invited to tour seven privately owned homes and one Painted Ridge model townhome in Broken Top this Saturday as a fundraiser for the Assistance League of Bend. The 2016 Kitchen Kaleidoscope offers a look inside Broken Top, a gated community featuring custom-built residences and townhomes centered around a championship golf course.

In addition to touring the homes, guests will sample creations by local chefs, and view artisans’ work for sale. There will be a beer and wine tasting as well.

Guests may park and walk the tour route, or a shuttle service will be available between homes. The Bulletin parking lot will accommodate overflow parking.

Assistance League of Bend is one of 120 chapters throughout the United States. The Bend chapter’s all-volunteer membership of 140 members served more than 6,755 low-income children and seniors in Deschutes County through its philanthropic programs, according to the organization.

Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; $30 in advance, $35 day of event. All proceeds will be donated to the Assistance League of Bend to help the neediest Deschutes County residents.
