Coppell – Participates in CISD Parent’s University

Members LeeAnne Oesch, Bobbie King and Sue Miller participated on the behalf of the Coppell Assistance League Saturday at the CISD Parent’s University making parents aware of the organization’s efforts educate about drug and/or alcohol issues in our school.  Did you know Coppell Assistance League provides drug testing kits free to parents?  These may be obtained through the school counselor or by requests on our website coppell.assistanceleague.org.  Assistance League Coppell also gives talks and demonstrations at the schools and various organizations. These programs include talks and demonstrations with Fatal Vision Goggles which emulate various degrees of intoxication.  Working closely with Officer Freemen of the Coppell Police Department to identify the current drugs on the streets of Coppell.  This is just one of the programs in which Assistance League Coppell makes a difference in our community.

All programs of Assistance League Coppell are funded but the Christmas Home Tour December 2nd and 3rd.  Tickets are available from any Assistance League member, from our Website, J Macklin’s, Zenzero’s Kitchen. Ivy College, Frost Bank, Heaven Sent and Kristi Hopper Designs.  Help us keep programs such as Drug Testing, Clothe A Child, Mentoring, Helping Hearts and others going in Coppell.

New members are welcome to join Assistance League Coppell.  The next meeting is Thursday, November 17th at Valley Ranch Baptist Church 1501 East Belt Line Road with social time 9:30 – 10:00 AM followed by the meeting.  For those who can they go to Dutch Treat Lunch at a local restaurant.
