On the second Wednesday of each month, more than 200 member volunteers of Assistance League of Diablo Valley attend a chapter regular meeting where they typically make decisions that affect the business of bylaws, budget approval, elections to office and hands-on philanthropic programs.
However, on Wednesday, May 13, the price of gasoline, traffic reports, and parking availability faded from the radar. Online registration via Zoom Webinar, facilitated by Assistance League of Diablo Valley’s Tech Solutions committee members, encouraged more than two hundred chapter members to make history by virtually registering for and attending the monthly meeting remotely from their respective homes
