Inland North County – Delivers Bears to Palomar Hospital Emergency Room

The Hug-A-Bear Program from Assistance League of Inland North County last week delivered 80 cuddly teddy bears to the Palomar Hospital Emergency Room in Escondido. These soft bears provide comfort to children and seniors in crisis situations. Throughout the year, over 2,000 bears are distributed to police, fire departments, hospitals and the Humane Society. Pictured in the hat is Assistance League Chairman Gloria Christensen with her bear buddies, all in face masks.
