Laguna Beach – Presents Scholarships

The Assistance League of Laguna Beach believes in helping others. The league’s generous philanthropy programs include supporting the Laguna Beach Community Clinic, Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach, and Friendship Shelter, and providing scholarships for graduating Laguna Beach High School seniors. A prime focus is the supportive program for families with developmentally delayed infants, known as the Early Intervention Program (EIP). The EIP provides professional occupational and physical therapists, developmental teachers, and behavioral specialists who make specific recommendations for each child to ensure his or her optimal development, plus support for the parents. At the league’s Turnabout Thrift Shop at 526 Glenneyre Street, donations of gently used clothing, household goods, furniture, and cash donations are turned into caring actions and programs that strengthen the community.
