LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The third annual Sky Canyon school supply drive, which runs from July 15 to 22 and benefits the Assistance League Las Vegas’ Operation School Bell® program, took in almost $4,000 worth of school supplies and shoes.
Operation School Bell provides more than 8,000 at-risk students in Clark County with the tools they need to excel at school each year.
With the first day of school mere weeks away, the donation will help the program prepare local students for a successful school year.
Operation School Bell, the flagship program of the Assistance League of Las Vegas, allows those students to “shop” for brand new supplies.
Assistance League of Las Vegas is nonprofit with 400 volunteer members and has served the valley for more than 40 years.
